According to some studies, it is possible to lose 15-20 per cent of your excess weight in 6 months. Today, 6-month balloons and 1-year balloons are frequently used. 1-year balloons are called an adjustable gastric balloon. The volume of the balloon can be increased or decreased at certain times. The difference between 1-year balloons and 6-month balloons is better tolerated in the early period, and patients lose more weight because they stay in the stomach for 1 year.
