How is the Gastric Balloon Applied?

The deflated balloon made of a soft and flexible silicone elastomer material prepared for the patient is placed in the stomach in a deflated state if no abnormality is observed. When the balloon enters the stomach, the balloon is filled with blue liquid through the filling tube (catheter) attached to the balloon and the process is completed. The balloon begins to float freely in the stomach.

With the sedation application, the procedure is comfortable for the patient and immediately after the application, the patient is awakened. The patient is discharged after 2 hours of service observation.
